Abandoned Chocolate Factory

Is there life in an abandoned chocolate factory?

Press photographer Sebastian Liszt invites you on a tour of the lives of several dozen Brazilian families who lived in an abandoned chocolate factory in Salvador de Bahia. These people settled the factory, fleeing violence that swept the city, and formed a kind of community that has been huddling in the factory since the beginning of 2009. Reporting Sheet tells the story of courage and despair. Shooting for several years reports about the life of this community, the photographer himself became part of it ...

In March 2011, the Brazilian government evicted families from the factory, trying to clear the city while preparing for international sporting events - the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games. The community moved to the new district of Jardim das Margaridas, where Liszt continues to shoot reports about her life.
