Cultural differences between Japanese and American firms
It's no secret that Japanese firms operate on completely different principles than Russian or Western ones. However, not everyone knows what exactly these inconsistencies manifest themselves in.
After graduating from college, I worked for 4 years in a large Japanese company, after which I was redirected to the USA. Like my friends, I followed the dream of many Japanese to find a job in a large Japanese company. However, now I work in the environment of IT-specialists of a rapidly growing company in San Francisco, and I really want to share with you the differences between the business culture of America and Japan. After six months of work in the United States, I realized that the structure of companies has both common features and differences.
