Heating convectors, built in the floor
Modern heating systems allow you to chooseequipment, optimal from different points of view. But also, that is not unimportant, the choice of equipment can be carried out proceeding from design preferences. And in this aspect it is very interesting to look at heating convectors built into the floor.
The first step is to understand thatsuch convectors, or radiators of convection type. This name is understood as heating equipment in which warm air from a heating element or coolant is transferred to the room by convection. Their design provides for the presence of air channels located between the plates in the fins. Air in the room, passing through them, heats up, as a result of which it becomes easier and eventually rises. Thanks to such a device, the air is continuously circulated and, consequently, continuous heating. The main advantage of heating convectors is the uniform heating of the room, regardless of the existing partitions and interior items. This largely determines their great popularity.
Each convector of heating in the floor also acts. But for all such heating devices, the distinctive feature is that after installation they are almost invisible and do not take up space on the walls of the room. They are usually installed in buildings with panoramic glass. Often, heating convectors built into the floor can be found in rooms in which the sills are located at low altitude. At the same time, they not only tolerate high humidity, but are even able to withstand flooding due to structural features and tightness of the hull.
The thickness of such convectors is about 5-10centimeters. Outwardly they are a flat wide chute with a heating element or heat exchanger inside, to which metal ribs are connected. Due to this design, maximum heat exchange is ensured with a sufficiently small thickness of the equipment. To increase power, convectors can additionally be equipped with a fan. Due to this, the power of the stream can be increased by 3-5 times.
If the room is planned to be implementedheating convectors of this type, then this must be envisaged even during the design of the building. And the devices themselves are usually installed during the construction phase when pouring the floor. This is done to ensure that the heating system is at the same level with the floor and does not interfere with the floor covering.
On these convectors the heating price depends on themany factors. This is the manufacturer, and the length of the device, its power, the presence of a fan to enhance airflow. For example, an EVA K-1000 with a capacity of 1 kW without a fan costs about 15,000, another model - EVA KB-1000 with similar characteristics (but a bit wider with a fan) - the buyer will cost 32,000 rubles.
