The werewolf of the times of Gorbachev. 1988
In May 1988, the Leningrad Region and the city were struck by the news of a daring attack on the Pash police station. In such a wilderness, the murder of a police officer and the theft of six Makarov military pistols with a large amount of ammunition from the duty unit were no longer an emergency. It was the crime of the century.
Sergeant Vasily Kuzikhin, who was on duty on that fateful night in the department, did not live to see his thirtieth birthday. Left alone, for some reason he opened the front door to criminals. This confirmed the version that the newcomers were familiar to him.
Traces of the struggle showed that Kuzikhin managed to understand the intentions of the uninvited guests, took out his service weapon and entered into an unequal fight, but was disarmed and shot from his own pistol. Nevertheless, his vigilance and professionalism did not work in favor of the criminals.
Vasily locked the keys to the weapon room in the safe, and put the keys to the safe in the far pocket. The raiders had to break open the safe with an ax in the room and only then manage the weapon.
All this produced traces at the scene. One of the versions of the tragedy that had been played out was the likely direct involvement or hitting of employees acting or dismissed from the police.
What is the operational-search business and what items are laid in the action plan, every operative worker knows. This is the indispensable participation of previously convicted, minors, guest performers.
All this was planned. And meticulously worked out. The leaders of the "expedition" —the head of the department, Yury Sobolev and his deputy, Aleksandr Valentinovich Kholyavko — only had time to react and immediately report on the processing of signals.
Bloody fingerprints on the ax were unsuitable for identification, but fabric fibers were found. From gloves, sewn from shreds. The details of the production respirator were found at the scene. That is, if the respirator was used by criminals as a mask, the late Kuzikhin could dislodge him from the face of the attacker during the struggle.
The search for businesses that used similar gloves and respirators was one of the top priorities of the investigators. Events have expanded, but the result is not yet given. Merchandising expertise confirmed the identity of the detected tissue fragments to the petal dust mask used in production.
In particular, at the Volkhovsky feed mill. Microparticles of fibers from gloves were also brought there. But this did not bring the desired result.
In the meantime, the cold was approaching, and the group gradually began to "run in different directions." Close prospects in the disclosure was not planned. However, after the "a" is usually pronounced "b".
The night signaling of the alarm in the accounting department of the Volkhovstroy station depot prompted the attendant to immediately send the arrest team to the scene. It took the policemen three minutes to reach the goal, cursing a possible false alarm. Three employees went to inspect the object.
Policeman driver according to the instructions remained at the car. On the second floor, policeman Desyatnichenko felt that something was wrong and loudly warned his comrades. At the sound of his voice shots rang out.
In response, the officer turned the enemy to flight. But the prosecution did not have enough strength: Desyatnichenko was wounded in the arm, and the rest of the “policemen” (well, affairs, GZ - a group of capture and without weapons, that’s what the USSR means :) were away without a standard weapon.
Of course, the version of the involvement of workers in the depot and the newly dismissed again dominated. The criminals knew about the burglar alarm, because they tried to get to the safe by breaking a hole in the adjacent wall. They also knew the day when the cashier received a large sum of money. It remained to these "werewolves" to calculate and delay.
Operators in Pasha and Volkhov were waiting for news from the experts about the belonging of bullets and cartridges, taken from the scene of robbery, to the pistols stolen in Pasha. But the answer came in the negative. It hit hard the enthusiasm of the operatives ...
But in spring, in Volkhov, the corpse of citizen Nekrasov, recently demobilized from the Soviet Army, was found on a hillock with gunshot wounds. From the same Makarov pistol. Militia captain Vasily Petlev from the regional "slaughter" department of Glavka was appointed senior team to work out all the signals on the line of this murder
And the signals fell down. After all, Nekrasov was local. When studying his connections, one of his classmates “surfaced”, who married Nekrasov's girlfriend while he served in the army. He had a VAZ car of red color, similar to the one in which Nekrasov quietly sat down at the end of the disco.
Previously, there were offenses. But they said goodbye to him due to the connections of his father, a pensioner of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Nearby his other friends in school, sport, and parties flashed. Some of them had previously worked at the depot, someone at the feed mill.
In each plot there is a plot, development, culmination and a denouement. In this case, an appeal to the traffic police officer on duty in front of the Volkhov inspector of two operatives of the Krasnogvardeisky police station on the search for the red Zhiguli prompted the final stage of disclosure.
The field investigators sent to Volkhov to Petlev told that Roma in the Krasnogvardeysky market had bargained for the purchase of the Zhiguli. Their owner offered to go to Kirishi, where the car was registered, to deregister. Two Gypsies went with two Kirishans and ... did not return.
When Petlev was shown a photofit image of the owner of the car, made up from the words of the camp, it became apparent that he looked like his rival Nekrasov in love, the happy owner of his former bride ...And the car "Lada" red. Former driver depot. His photograph was presented to the camp, and the result was positive. It was a small matter ...
The interrogation of a suspect who was stunned by the course of events beyond his control did not constitute a super task. He called an accomplice in the killing of gypsies, shot dead on the way in the Zhiguli saloon, and showed the burial place of the corpses.
The bullets were from a Makarov pistol, abducted from the Pashsky police station. And then came the answer from forensic experts of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. When re-examining the state-of-the-art equipment, it was found that bullets and cartridges that had been withdrawn from the place of firing at the Volkhovstroi depot were identified as pistols from Pasha. Yes, there was a pad. But better late than never.
Among the criminals was an officer at the time of the commission of the first and second crimes of the criminal investigation department of the Volkhovskiy GROVD (the bastard, the criminal investigation was disgraced even in those times).
He tried to "help" the disclosure, trying to be aware of all the signals. There was both an employee of a feed mill and a depot employee. Two years this criminal group existed. Four residents of the Volkhov district were fully exposed to the commission of serious crimes and convicted to the fullest extent of Soviet law.
