This we have not seen! Creative drawings of the artist, created with the help of shadow and light
The director from Belgium, Vincent Bal, did not even think that he would ever become an artist. But once an insignificant detail at first glance prompted him to start creating creative drawings, the main tool of which was not colors and pencils, but shadows from the most common objects!
Unexpected shadow game by Vincent Bal
Vincent Ball has long realized himself as a director - he made four films and a large number of commercials, but the directorial work did not bring him sufficient creative satisfaction. But in April 2016, he uploaded a photo to his Facebook account that changed everything: it was a drawing with a shadow from a cup that looked like an elephant.
Vincent says: once he just worked at the table on a new script and accidentally noticed how an unusual shadow was falling on the paper lying on the table from his cup.To give her more certainty, he added a contour and a few strokes to the drawing - and the little elephant took its form!I took a photo of my drawing and created a post on Facebook. And I did not have time to come to my senses when my “little elephant” got more likes and repost than ever.
He was extremely surprised and delighted with the reaction of the readers. From that day on, the newly created illustrator began posting creative and funny pictures on Facebook and Instagram.

In some cases, the illustrator carefully thinks out his work, but in general, many creative drawings were made in just ten minutes. Vincent Bal calls his drawings only doodles, and from now on he calls himself a director, a doodler and a procrastinator, specifying that all these three classes constitute his full-time work.
To create funny pictures and doodles, this illustrator loved even more directing. Indeed, unlike making a film that has a long way to go before being evaluated by the audience, the Ball receives an instant response to its creative drawings in social networks.I like the speed of the process. So, I got an idea - I embody it, and immediately find an audience. Freedom! I can create whatever I want.
Now one of Bal's favorite activities is the search for interesting shadows or objects that could make an interesting game with shadow and light.
